About Us
Born from a love of riding and creative independence, Volcom has spent more than three decades developing a distinctive place within skate, surf and snow culture. The company traces its beginning to 1991, when founders Richard Woolcott and Tucker Halliday set out to build a riding company around the sports they loved.
That original board-sports foundation remains visible throughout the modern Volcom assortment. The brand's current collections bring together technical snow apparel, surf equipment, skate-influenced clothing and relaxed everyday pieces, giving customers options that work both on the mountain or beach and in everyday settings.
The everyday range is broad. Shoppers can find graphic T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, shirts, denim, chinos, pants, shorts, jackets and accessories, while specialized categories cover boardshorts, rashguards, wetsuits, swimwear and snow-specific layers.
Volcom's Frickin collection adds another dimension to the brand's wardrobe, with chinos, joggers and hybrid shorts designed around comfortable movement and casual styling. The brand also operates a Workwear collection with clothing, footwear and accessories built for more demanding environments.
For families, Volcom offers a dedicated youth assortment covering clothing, sandals, accessories, surf and snow. Kids' snow collections include jackets, pants, layers and accessories, while the kids' surf assortment includes wetsuits and boardshorts.
From the Volcom Stone logo to its long-standing connection with riders, artists and musicians, the brand continues to combine functional apparel with a strong creative identity. Its current collections reflect that heritage through a mix of technical performance gear and everyday street-ready clothing.
